Hey there, I'm Emily Roz and welcome to Myriad Recipes!
I'm the voice, photographer, and recipe developer behind Myriad Recipes. I'd like to say thank you for checking out my website, it means so much to me! I hope you enjoy browsing and find some inspiration!
Here you'll find a variety of simple and delicious dishes inspired by recipes and ingredients from around the world.
Whether it's my 20 minute Sticky Ginger Aubergine, or more advanced recipes like my Chive Pockets, I aim to break down the recipes and make them approachable for the home cook to enjoy.
A Little Background About Me
First up, let's start with a big hello!!
I grew up in several countries around Europe and traveled internationally with my family. So, having been surrounded by an array of beautiful cultures, people, and food, I'm sure you can imagine that it was all an incredible experience for a kid growing up.
Having a family that really appreciated food, cooking, and the joy of eating together, I developed a passion for flavour and ingredients from a young age.
My upbringing fuelled my desire to explore the world. So my partner, Henry, and I proceeded to travel around South America, China, and other parts of Europe during University and the years that followed.
After university, I began working in marketing and picked up a part-time job as a breakfast chef. Realising I wanted to pursue a career in food, I decided to set up a social media channel called Myriad Recipes to act as a portfolio to share with future employees. My community grew to over 200,000 within the first few months, and that's when I decided to begin sharing my recipes online via my website in January 2022!
I left my marketing and breakfast chef jobs to pursue a career in recipe development, but wanted to keep improving my cooking knowledge, so I began working as a part-time chef at an award-winning restaurant in Bath, UK.
My passion for accessible recipes and the positive response from my audience led me to focus entirely on Myriad Recipes. Now based in London, I'm fortunate to be surrounded by an incredible community of food writers, bloggers, and creators that help support each other every day.
I hope my brief summary gave you a little insight as to who I am and how I aim to provide value to you! To sum it up nicely, Myriad Recipes is a culmination of years surrounded by global influences and my ultimate love of cooking. I hope I can inspire and show you how to cook up budget-friendly, simple, and mouth-wateringly delicious meals.

More About Emily and The Blog
Absolutely, I have a number of time-based and simple recipes. Check out my recipes that take under 20 minutes and under 30 minutes only!
I have a number of recipes that are more time-consuming or for someone who is more passionate about cooking. For example, this Vegan Baozi (Steamed Bun) is a fun and delicious snack to make. Or you could try out this Sri-Lankan inspired Black Pork Curry, it's full of flavour and such a crowd-pleaser.
Yes! Although I don't follow a plant-based diet, I have a lot of vegan and vegetarian recipes. Also, even in my meat-based recipes, I always try and provide a vegan alternative in the recipe variations section. For example, with this Shakshouka-inspired Sardines & Eggs recipe, I've provided a vegan recipe variation suggestion for those following a plant-based diet. I always try to be as inclusive as possible in all my recipes.
Myriad is an English with that essentially means "multitude" or "countless". Hence, Myriad Recipes, because this page is all about providing a countless number of exciting recipes inspired by every corner of the globe
