At some point in our life, we've all made too much Chilli Con Carne...and not known what to do with it. This recipe is perfect for those who want to finish off their leftovers with a fun and easy twist. These Chilli Con Carne Dumplings are the ideal pre-dinner nibble to serve friends and family at your next dinner party!

The "Chilli Con Carne Dumplings" Filling
I feel like everyone goes through that stage of having made way too much Chilli Con Carne. I used to put it into Burritos, Lasagne, and on top of Jacket Potatoes! Recently, I've discovered that it also works brilliantly in a dumpling wrapper!
So, get your leftover chilli con carne (you want it to be thick enough so that the juices don't leak through the wrapper). Place a teaspoon of the chilli into the centre of a dumpling wrapper with a pinch of grated cheddar cheese and a little jalapeño, and fold up your dumplings into a little parcel.
Cooking The Dumplings
For this recipe, I've used an Air Fryer which is super handy. I set the temperature to 200C and air-fried them for 5 minutes.
If you're using an oven, I'd recommend preheating the oven to 200C (180C Fan), and baking them for around 15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
The Guacamole Dip
The perfect addition to these Chilli Con Carne dumplings is a fresh guacamole dip.
What you'll need for the guacamole:
- 1 avocado
- ½ red onion, finely sliced
- 5 cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped
- ½ lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Simply combine all of these ingredients in a pestle and mortar until a creamy dip has formed.
